First of all I’d like to start off by saying I’m sorry for the site’s absence for so long. The simple short of it was that I took on way too much too fast (Animethon Chair, ASAPA treasurer, taking care of my father, business ventures) and I neglected Anime-Alberta. I was counting too much on other people to pull through for things for the site and it never panned out. When I found myself out of time, I kept putting Anime-Alberta on to the back burner until things got to the state they were and I never should have done this. I’m sorry.
To continue with the bad news, in the great “bot invasion of 2009″ we still haven’t been able to recover large sections of the database. So for the forums you’ll have to make new accounts and your private messages have been lost. We hope to recover most of the posts later for archival purposes, but that’s the best we can do at this point.
But with good news the front end for Anime-Alberta is fully functional and we will be accepting article submissions. As well the bulletin board is back, albeit in a simpler form for now, and is ready for all of your post needs.
